Hi Christoph, Your work looks outstanding, congratulation. Only only note of mine that the icons of templates are very similar to normal documents. I think we should change templates icon a bit to make them visually more separated. What about to put a wider strip to the top of the icon? It can be as wide as the earmark with same color. I can help to integrate it to the git repo. But here we should define deadline. Maybe we want it to put to 3.3.0 ar 3.3.1 is sufficient? KAMI 2011-01-16 22:59 keltezéssel, Christoph Noack írta:
(CCing Design Team mailing list) Hi Developers! Sorry for bothering you ... but we'll bother you nevertheless :-) So guys, please have a look at the request by Bernhard (below), since we rely on your support to make LibreOffice visually distinctive. Why? Because the currently packaged icons refer to the wrong product - using the (so called) Sun S-curve, adding OOo Galaxy Style colors and adding seagulls. Concerning the latter, and since I consider myself to be an "animal lover", I'd like them to release them into nature ;-))) Here is the current state of our work: http://luxate.blogspot.com/2011/01/libreoffice-initial-icons-milestone.html Finally, and since you already put so much energy into LibreOffice, please support us to make users aware of that! If you want to have a look at the present state, please visit the wiki: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/LibreOffice_Initial_Icons#Present_State_of_the_Icon_Design We don't know if there will be a chance to integrate them in the final release for LibO 3.3.0 (this will have to be decided, when the iconset is ready), but even if they make it in LibO 3.3.1 only, we need to know how to format the icons and what are the names to be used for easiest packaging. The ODF icon page [1] shows several file names (probably used in OOo). Are they the same in LibO? With the proper information the design team will try to provide the icons in the best possible way.
