        In short: no :-)

        A longer answer would be - that all the sensible alternatives,
including CMake were analysed, and Bjorn chose gmake primarily since it
seems to be the only thing that cuts it for the job. I imagine he wrote
upsome analysis somewhere, or you can read his slides from the last
OOoCon where he covered this.
