There's some broken dependency somewhere and something isn't getting
rebuilt.
I have a build broken in this way here, and will dig at / fix the
dependency issues later today if I can.
The real problem is with the sd/ re-build, not the vcl one - but no
doubt the underlying problems is more profound & problematic.
