Should the issue number be left in the comment as well or not?

It should be kept as a reference.


But only if it refers to an issue in the public OpenOffice.org bug tracking system (and not some 
older, internal bug tracker at Sun or StarDivision). Unfortunately it might be hard to see from 
just a number what bug tracker it is from, to one might need to actually look up the issue number 
and see if it seems to be related to the comment.
