[libreoffice-design] Automatic updates at startup should require user confirmation

Hello,

LibreOffice currently appears able to install an update automatically when
the application is launched. In my case, this can take several minutes,
precisely when I open LibreOffice because I need to use it immediately.

Checking automatically for updates is useful. Installing them automatically
at startup, without first giving the user a choice, is much more
problematic.

A more user-respecting behaviour would be to notify the user that an update
is ready and offer two choices:

   -

   Update now
   -

   Remind me later

The issue is not only that the current progress dialog gives too little
information. Even a perfectly clear message would not solve the main
problem: the user cannot choose when LibreOffice becomes unavailable for
several minutes.

This concern is related to bug 164937, but that report mainly discusses the
wording and information shown during the update. I believe the ability to
postpone the update deserves separate consideration.
