Sorry for missing the session today... I'll have to comment offline.
It's always difficult to "argue" with the minutes, but I guess there's
no getting around it.
So, here is the part of the minutes I am concerned about:

Let's start by noting that the bug was not about "Rename Presentation
Styles to Drawing Styles": That's not the bug title, and was never
suggested (and it can't make sense since we already have this category).
The ask, as of the latest comment on the bug, is renaming to "Slide
Master Elements".
No participant defended the claim that the "Presentation Styles" are
styles of presentations. No participants claimed that "Slide Master
Elements" is an incorrect name for the category.
One person opposed the suggested rename - but that was in a comment on
the bug, not in the design meeting, and without an argument against the
rename, nor an argument for the validity of the existing name, nor a
suggestion of an alternative solution to the problem.
As for the documentation:
* It was clarified on the bug page that the bug is not about
documentation, so any documentation change does not, and cannot even in
principle, resolve the bug.
* Saying that the "documentation could deserve some improvement" is a
mis-representation. The documentation for this is partially missing and
the rest is incorrect and entirely unhelpful (details on the bug page)
More importantly - it is a UX conundrum to have a style category of
non-styles. And let's not talk about what happens when you try to add a
new "Presentation style"...
Bottom line: IMHO, this bug did not see useful discussion in the meeting
(as far as the minutes tell us at least) and no conclusion about it was
reached. Suggest bringing it up again next time, and I'll try to attend.
