Sounds reasonable- and has been asked for a while ago in [1]. My comment was

that such a change might be to the detriment of pure search operations. No reply

back then but if you give your opinion on the bug tracker I'm happy to

reinvestigate the question.

Please rethink the tab-key order in the search and replace dialog.
It would be a great enhancement if someone can change from the search
text entry directly to the replace text entry by pressing the tab-key
only once.
