[libreoffice-design] Agenda for the design/UX meeting 2020-Nov-19 (THU)

Hello all,

the next design/UX meeting is on Thursday, Nov/19,
14:00 Berlin/CET/GMT+1 resp. 13pm UTC.

Here is the agenda:


 * Writer/UI: Adding Captions to Images is very Unpractical (Width of Image
   Changes with Width of Frame, Does not use Default Frame Style etc)
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121378
   + a) make the frame full-size or
   + b) resizing the frame must not change the image
   + c) introduce smart solution where the caption is supposed to take
        3x of the image width if <100, 2x if <200, or 1x - or the like

 * [rfe] Template Manager:  give some kind of visual sign on built-in templates
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138245
   + grey font (not really suited) or dedicated icon likewise for default

 * Find and Replace dialog default should other options be closed
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138173
   + expand Options independently from diacritics (Stuart)
   + like to see all (Roman)

 * Menu items with identical (or very similar) labels but different actions in
   Draw and Impress
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138203
   + Align + Text/Objects in menus?

 * CALC - User Interface - Enhance "Connecting Cells"
   + https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137853
   + introduce Merge Columns/Rows?
