Hey, take a look at this one:

This one makes a lot more work for the implementator, but it might be 
worth it. It's mostly standard stuff, but what might be somewhat more 
costly (as in developer time) is rendering text slides and in-preview 
text editing. If someone stands up only to implement parts of this, then 
there is no problem making it simpler if needed.

What is different:
Image previews, draggable, selectable.
Image position per slide.
Text slide preview.

One more note still, if someone uses widescreen projector (and 
widescreen presentation), then of course the thumbnails wouldn't be 4:3 
but whatever the page settings are for the current document.
