I'll comment on your Insert/Freeform line icon here.

*Does the proposal meet our design guidelines?*
Not yet -- it needs to be aligned to a square half-pixel grid.

*Does the icon represent its function well?*
Yes.

*Is the proposal visually appealing?*
Yes.

*Can anything be done to improve this icon?*
When compared to the pencil, the line drawn with the pencil seems a bit too
thick. Could you perhaps tone it down to 1.5 px or 1 px width?
