Hi :)
If you can get people keen on the topic then feature requests don't always take years!

Choice can be confusing.  If you tell people not to use certain options then they are likely to  be 
even more determined to "accidentally" try them out.  That might make them more productive as they 
find good uses for the other apps.  

The Design Team Mailing List might be a good one to ask about your issue.  So, i have tried 
forwarding this thread to their list but i am not subscribed there so i wont see any answers :(

Tom, in my organization we utilise abiwod maybe 10 years in linux, but the
trigger for this installation of OOo ó LO is to see/modify presentations
from another suite :-P, and I have not see any compatibility like OOo/LO.

I will write some enhancement request, like Pedro say, but it will arrive
late for me. Well, the world is not perfect.
