Hi Greg,

welcome to this list!

A question:

Is this forum the right place for product architecture? I thought that's what
I was getting involved in but it seems focused a great deal more on graphic
design.

Careful observation might lead to this conclusion, that's true :-) But
this is what currently seems required for the project, so it got a
higher priority than other tasks. To us, Design means both "Visual
Identity Design", and "User Experience Design" (what is the product used
for, how usable is it, how people rate its utility, ...).

So - I guess - that is what you mean.

I'm not complaining, it's just that I know there are many design disciplines
and I had the former in mind, rather than the latter. Maybe it's just a point
in time trend?

If you like, please have a look on our Design wiki page and also our
current Design Team Kick-Off. You'll see that we are serious to play a
more active role in shaping LibreOffice for our users.

Did that help? Moreover, would you like to join? :-)

Cheers,
Christoph
