From my understanding of the branding guidelines space between the

and the borders of the buttons should be looked at: It shouldn't be
less
than half the width of the symbol.

That's how I read it also.
For example in those images the icon (page icon) is 25 pixels wide.
The space from the top of the Logo to the lower edge of the border, for
the bordered buttons, is 13 pixels, the left is 16 pixles..ah but the
lower space is only 12.
