Hmm. So, are you saying that, with version 5.0 or earlier, you are actually hearing page numbers being spoken as you move across a punctuation boundary when moving word by word. I have not seen this behavior in earlier versions but perhaps it might be worth installing 5.1 to see if the issue goes away.

hi
i dont have any information about other screen readers. because i use
only nvda.
i only mentioned my experience.
for me NVDA reading a page number when navigating word by word across
a punctuation symbol in all versions before version 5.1 and i dont
know the reason.
yes. saying page number in document formatting is enabled for me and i
agree too.
i want to hear page number when i move from a page to another page,
not across punctuations and i appreciate you if you help me to find a
solution.
did you try previous versions of nvda and also libreoffice?
i use windows xp nvda 2015.3 two gb ram with libreoffice 5.0.5 and
sometimes other versions before version 5.1.
my locale in my system and libreoffice both is fa_ir
i did not install java and java access briedge.

Hi.
Well, I just installed LO 5.1. Machine is running Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
with 8 GB of RAM. I have two screen readers installed: NVDA 2016.1 and
Window-Eyes 9.3.
First, I never had the experience of having NVDA reading a page number
when navigating word by word across a punctuation symbol and I honestly
would not want this information in that particular situation. The only
time I would want NVDA to read page numbers when moving word by word is
if I cross a page boundary, such as moving from page 1 to page 2, and in
that case the information would be useful.
In fact, when pressing ctrl-enter to create a new page, NVDA does
correctly report when crossing over to a new page if "report pages" is
enabled in the document settings dialog.

hi.
i tested libreoffice 5.1 and saw difference in accessibility.
for example: in previous versions, when i wanted to navigate word by
word using control left and control right, when there was a
punctuation nvda first says the page number and blank.
but in 5.1 when i there is a punctuation, nvda does not announce page
number.
instead, says the punctuation and then blank.
for example: says kama blank or question blank and other punctuation
marks.
hope that be useful for you and help you.

@David,

The 5.1.0.3rc is solid. No "new" accessibility issues we're aware of.
But
you know the drill... please file reproducible issues to our bugzilla:
