Just one more thing: if you also export to XHTML, some of the accessibility work will need to be redone: * the XHTML export filter loses all the language information (it does not export any lang or xml:lang attributes): <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39795>; * the XHTML export filter does not use the correct field to produce alt attributes for images: <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39561> (but a patch has been submitted).

thanks, I will have a look at both links.

I won't have a problem with adding the captions before adding the alt text, since our documents exist already. :) And the only links we have in the documents are the email address for comments to the documents and where to download our documents. No other links used.
