Perdona Eduardo, no entendí esto: "Hay una función en Word que no tiene Writer, y es el centrar
texto en la página."
Yo lo hago con la herramienta 'Centrado' ó con Ctrl+T ó con 'Formato' > alineación > centro.
Me imagino que te refieres a otra cosa, por eso pregunto.
