[de-users] Geschützter Bindestrich nach Formel

Hallo, ich möchte "x_3-Achse" schreiben, dabei x_3 als Formel setzen. Wenn ich bei dem Bindestrich einen "geschützten Bindestrich" setze, erhalte ich dennoch einen Zeilenumbruch. Das ist ärgerlich und meiner Meinung nach ein Fehler. Gibt es eine andere Möglichkeit, ohne das x_3 als normalen Text nachzubauen? (Es könnte ja auch mal eine komplexere Formel werden...)
