Liebe Liste,
ich weiß nicht, ob wir da etwas drehen können. Mittlerweile ist die 11.4
von openSuSE raus - mit der Java 1.6.0.u23 ohne Downgrademöglichkeit.
Ergebnis: Datenbanken mit Base, sofern aus der HSQL-DB gelesen,
funktionieren nur im Schneckentempo.
Das scheint zwar in der Hauptsache ein Problem von Java und HSQLDB zu
sein, aber ein einfaches Angebot des Downgrade auf die 1.6.0.u22 würde
das Problem lösen.
Für den Normaluser wird es bei neueren Linuxdistributionen allerdings so
erscheinen, dass LibreOffice base eben ein Produkt ist, von dem
abzuraten ist.
