Hi Olivier,

inserting a space before a colon is correct for the French language, LibO does that in Writer, but of course not appropriate for XML code. The feature should be restricted to the text portions.

Hi

I was testing the French translation of the Calc Guide in weblate and found a strange or buggy behaviour of weblate in French.

https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/user-guides-experiment/calc-guide-24/cg2400-preface/fr/?checksum=582f44377d94f7e3

On saving the string, weblate adds a space before all colons (:) inside the tags, which breaks the XML.

If I'm not mistaken, that must be fixed. XML must be preserved as-is.

Tested with Firefox and Brave.

The issue does not show in pt-BR.
