  * Guideline for floating widgets

      + remain active, by default
      + close per x but not escape

On Uther application, on Thunderbird or Firefox for Linux for exemple escape is used to close floating window. For consistency between applications, I think to make it possible to use both alt+F4 and escape should be a good idea.

      + non-resizable

I'm not agree with the idea to make thing non-re sizable because user could change the default font size on its interface and could want to resize floating window to make it possible to see the whole items in their screen.

      + close expanded but not floating controls on escape or when focus is lost

Could you please add an example ? I'm not sure to understand correctly this point.

Best regards,
Alex.
