local Library system and literacy group now have the 3.3.3 NA-DVD.
I dropped off them today. I gave the literacy group a 3.3.1 or 3.3.2
version a few months back, but while I was in the area I dropped off the
newest copy and was dealing with the tech lady at the main library for
the county about the benefits of LO over MSO. She was wondering how I
got involved with LO and she may not have thought a North American DVD
would be worked on by a local person using a wheeled walker, or a
software DVD be distributed for free by anyone. I told these people, I
talked to, to contact me if they need any information or help about
using LO. I also pointed out both the NA.US and the main LO web sites.
So next is contacting the local government office tech departments
[city, and county] to get them a current copy of the DVD. A few months
back I gave a copy of the 3.3.1 version to the local State government
elected representative, saying I would be giving a "finalized version"
in a few months. There are 4 or 5 offices I have to find where they are
and get copies of the 3.3.3 DVD to the proper people in those offices.
Hopefully between the pain and heat, I will be able to do this delivery
in the next week or so.
