Italo: Just to bring you up to speed. SCALE is on this weekend and Drew
suggested that we could also hand out information on the DFD. He will
need some time to have the copies photocopied if there is time. The
flyers would be 1/2 page landscape and would be cut in half (both halves
would have the same message). Flyers would be printed on white stock paper.
Guys, I'm happy if you support DFD. I think you can mention TDF or
LibreOffice or both as I'm sure that we will be featured on their web
site (although I don't know if we will be listed amongst the sponsors,
but I'm fine). Anyway, I'll talk to the FSF lady on friday, and we'll
sort it quickly.
Hi Italo,

OK - well, if nothing else I can fun off a few (200) of the flyer on the
DFD site and just distribute them - maybe that is just the best way to
do it this year anyway. I have no problem telling folks what I did last
year on that, what I will do this year.

I don't really need to make any explicit link to LibreOffice beyond the
natural affinity the two organizations would have, just by being in the
same sphere of interest but keep about personal activities..

I think that is as good a plan as any for the moment.

@Marc if you put something together and point me to it, that is
wonderful, but you don't really have to worry about it, it's up to you.

And with that off to finish packing, then a nap, need to leave around 2
AM for the 2 1/2 hour drive to Baltimore and the airport.

We had a spring snow storm in the mountains here, yesterday. Looking out
my window right now it is snow on everything and gray skys - already
below freezing and not quite night fall - Just checking LA weather it is
62 degrees and mostly sunny...oh yeah, that works.

Well Monday was no picnic here in middle of the border line between New York and Pennsylvania. Foot of snow when we get an inch or less average for this year. Then this Weds. morning we had a record of 9 below at 7 am. This has not been a good winter for us here.

So Drew, you are going to miss the sunny skies and below zero days, or the cloudy days of 20 to 30 degrees with heavy snow falls. I am glad I do very little driving any more and I could get my aide to go shopping for me if I kept more cash on hand.

But enjoy yourself at LAX [hopefully the hotel/motel is close by] at SCALE. Enjoy the nice warm weather there. My cousin who lives in "Northern" LA area tells me he if freezing his butt off when it gets 40 or 50 degrees at night. Wish we had weather that "cold".
