If they do not want to host it there, then we may have a problem for who
will host the ISO file[s]. According to GoDaddy.com, I am not allow to
host the ISO version of the DVD on my hosting account since that would
make it a repository account. I would like to know how/where the ISO
can be downloaded from within a GoDaddy account, or some other account.
I don't know if this is appropriate, but why not seed it via p2p?
Also, if it's really an issue, I can put it on my site. Not to speak for
Drew, but I should think he can host it on his site.
I see that Rackspace is a sponsor of SCALE (I use their CloudSites
product). If you're interested, I'll contact them at SCALE and ask if
they'd be willing to donate some CloudFiles space. I'm not sure of the
politics of that question as I'm not a TDF member.

Feel them out to see if they would be interested to donate some space to
host the DVD and CDs for the North American Community discs that
developers who are not members of TDF are doing this side of the
"pond". This is for the benefit of the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Mostly
for the English speaking people, till the French and Spanish groups get
in the swing and do their part when the DVD is that far along -
hopefully in a few weeks.

Take them the above link and let them look at the files and folders that
are currently in the "beta" process, though Drew will have some DVD to
hand out at that event. He is concerned with making a disc for that
event, while I am concerned to make it a disc that will be useful for
the peoples of North America. I do not want to wait to see what the
Germans will come up with for their version of what we could use. They
can do Europe, and We can use their start to do first English speaking
folks, then add French speaking Canada and Spanish speaking Mexico. The
"final" "beta" English DVD should be finished in a few weeks with the
prep work for the adding of the two other languages to the pages. Just
look at all of the languages in the Extension page, Dictionary section.
I am thinking about adding to the list of language files to the install
list. Some of the major ones that are part of the "English as a second
language" groups. Maybe have them on the DVD and only a few more listed
would work for a start. I am going to do as much as I can, while I have
time to do some of the work.
