Congratulations to The Document Foundation on the successful launch of a great project and community.

Marius Nestor, at Softpedia, dropped this little gem into the intro of a post announcing the availability of the second alpha for Ubuntu's 11.04...

What's new in Ubuntu 11.04 Alpha 2? Well, lots of things are new in this second Alpha release of the upcoming Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) operating system, but the most important change is that the old 3.2 office suite from Oracle has been finally replaced with the new and lightweight LibreOffice 3.3 open source office suite from The Document Foundation.

"...most important... new... lightweight.. The Document Foundation..."

good stuff,
