Have just downloaded the LibreOffice as was looking for an alternative
to
Access now i have a mac.  Has installed but am unable to use base as
needs
a JRE.  Have installed the latest Java from the adobe website but still
nothing just gives an error message. Please can you assist?

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Sadly I can't help since I don't have Mac nor do I use Base.
