[sv-users] Limitations in Microsoft Word

I'm have a problem with Microsoft Word.
There are limitations in Word making it impossible to:
- create a table from text larger than about 32000 lines
- sort a table larger than about 16000 lines

Does Libreoffice have similar limitations or could it handle larger tables?
Is the format of Libreoffice compatible with Word?
