Dear TDF members,

as you might have heard the Linux Desktop is under attack by Microsoft in
Munich. Here is some background (in german, but google translate will help
you).

 https://www.mobilegeeks.de/artikel/limux/
 https://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/LiMux-Aus-in-Muenchen-Opposition-
wettert-gegen-katastrophale-Fehlentscheidung-3622848.html

This decision will have worldwide effect on LibreOffice adoption. The
decision
is due TOMORROW. Attached is a infographic that presents some relevant
information on the background of the decision in english.

If you want to SHARE this on social media, please do so -- but not before
10:00
CET today (in ~5 minutes). It is important the decision makers are aware
that
the world is watching them.

A key party in this decision is the SPD in Munich, which has the following
accounts on twitter:

 @RathausSPD
 @spdmuenchen

also the following hashtags can help raise visibility for this:

 #spd
 #muenchen
 #limux

Translating the graphic to other local languages to educate local audiences
about how such things happen is also very welcome.

NOTE: The decision is TOMORROW, so if we want to have an impact on it, we
need
to be heard TODAY!

Lets do our best to defend open source productivity in the world ... and in
Munich.

Best,

Bjoern
