Het aantal schrijfoperaties op een ssd is beperkt. Een goed besturingssysteem verdeelt de
schrijfopdrachten daarom gelijkmatig over alle locaties.
Een ssd is geschikter voor gegevens die niet zo vaak veranderen, dus liever programma's dan
gegevens, en je moet hem zeker niet als cache gebruiken.
Hoe meer vrije ruimte over is hoe beter de schrijfopdrachten verdeeld kunnen worden.
Defragmenteren is overbodig want niet-sequentiële toegang is even snel als sequentiële toegang.
