Wat te denken... Als het waar is, is het een geweldige erkenning voor
het werk van Linux Torvalds en de zijnen. Ik heb gelezen dat Linux ook
echt behoorlijk groeit op de desktop-markt. Ik vind dat een geweldige
prestatie! Maar voor LO zou het aanleiding moeten zijn tot bezinning.
Het zijn denk ik vooral de overheden, onderwijs-instellingen en andere
organisaties die geen belang hebben bij de dure toeters en bellen van MSO.
Ook voor thuisgebruik is LO een geweldig pakket.
Met MSO krijg je ook "Sky Drive" heb ik gezien. Dat is een soort "Google
Drive/docs" achtig iets. Maar voor een goed desktop-pakket blijft
volgens mij nog lange tijd voldoende belangstelling. Zonder cloud.
Misschien moet LO iets met Thunderbird gaan doen.
Om een volwaardig desktop-pakket te worden. Zomaar een paar gedachten.
