まずはご報告ですが Pootle 上で「カタログ」のギリシャ文字は全部英語
に戻しました。ので、3.4.1 だと治ると思います。
inifinite が OOo では (LibO 3.3.2 でも) 「無限」で、入力すると
「%無限」となってちゃんと「∞」になるので、翻訳したらいけないわけ
ではないようですが、ちょっと不気味なのでこれも「infinite」にしま
した。
個人的には、翻訳者さんはこういう事態を恐れずに翻訳してほしいですし、
そういっていただけると心強いです。
今回たまたま地雷を踏んだのが私だったわけですが、そういうスタンスで
やっていくという表明は多くの人が萎縮しないでいいと思います。
誰かしらが気づいたら即座に報告していただければと思います。
そうですね、タイムベースリリースだと積極的に Beta/RC や Nightly
に手を出すほうが結果的にはトクをするということになりそうですね。
うーん、Ubuntu Nightly PPA とかほしい……。
ただ翻訳で function problem が起きるというのは元のコードが悪いとい
う気はしますので、これは ja に閉じずフィードバックしていったほうが
多くの人が幸せになれますね。
現にこの地雷、3.3 の時に踏んでる人は多いみたいですし。
