またmain.xcd内では、主要なコンテンツ部分のタブや改行コードが除去されている(&データサイズが非常に大きい)為にgedit等ではうまく表示出来ないようです。

起動時間の短縮を図るため、こういう仕様にしたんですかねぇ。
human readableだと読み込みに時間がかかりそうなので。
