i simboli ≪ e ≫ sono i simboli matematici di 'molto minore' e 'molto maggiore', si trovano in unicode blocco Operatori matematici, code point U+226A e U+226B. Mentre i simboli « e » sono le virgolette angolate, unicode Supplemento Latino-1, code point U+00AB e U+00BB

Per fare una citazione vanno usate le seconde.

Il fatto che vada a capo usando il 'molto maggiore' potrebbe anche essere considerato corretto.
