thanks very much for your answer and solution after so long it finally
works. Some comments inline.

To begin with, did the green link   Login Here
<https://extensions.libreoffice.org/Security/login?BackURL=>. take me to
the general Login page, where the user has to click on another button
because first and last name were missing? Why this second click? Would it
not be better if the user was prompted to enter his pw and login straight
away?

Could he be prompted to the link you provided and being told to enter first

Thank you, since I am not taken there any more, this part of the question
is solved.

However I am now taken to the general extension page which means that I
have to search for the extension I was looking at.
Could one be redirected to the page he was watching?
