Redmine 2097 <https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/2097> is
assigned to me at the moment and I've been trying to do the work needed for
the task. I've been familiarising myself with the task requirements and code
and got a couple of questions that I duly posted on the Redmine issue
itself. However, around a month has passed since then and I did not receive
any reply. Thus, I'm posting here to get the attention of the Website team
who could maybe help here. For convenience's sake I'm quotign the questions
here
Is this done using any particular module? Or is it done from scratch? I
have tried searching for signs of some module but haven't seen any so I'm
assuming that it is done from scratch but I don't want to cause any
problems so a clarification would be quite helpful.
(this = the Download Now banner)
About the cookie thing, maybe a solution could be that of saving a cookie
for that session only? So a user closes the banner once per session.
(cookie thing = the suggestion that a cookie should be saved on the user's
browser store that shows the banner once per user)
Thank you for reading.
