I think in general, getting in touch with them can never hurt. Not only for
hosting, but also for e.g. student programs, Hackfests, whatever.
And while reading their docs is certainly a good idea, we shouldnt assume them
to be completely set in stone -- sometimes exceptions make the rule. So yeah,
going there and connecting with the team there seems like a very good idea to
me.
