However, we are sometimes too busy to keep track of all the mail, the 
bugs will not get lost as the QA team makes sure that we are reminded of 
them.

Bloat ... sure, but maybe easier to work with. For example, I usually 
use my Sunday mornings to go over bugs and I try to close as many on the 
website list as I can or able to. I was busy last Sunday and this Sunday 
I am out of town. So, to me when I come back I can refer to the bugs 
rather than going through the emails.
