Sounds good to me. I like using the bugtracker for these kinds of
updates, but a number of people have pointed me to the mailing list,
so I wasn't sure if filing a bug was the proper mechanism.

lol ... yeh ... and we are trying to get people to issue bugs. We keep going
round in circles. ;-(

For me it depends on the scope of a change. Just in order to report a
typo or similar it is complete overkill to use bugzilla. Instead of
just fixing the bug and sending a reply, you have to login to
bugzilla, set it to fixed and then write that notification to the list
as well. That is bloat, so I prefer the list for small stuff.

However, we are sometimes too busy to keep track of all the mail, the bugs will not get lost as the QA team makes sure that we are reminded of them.

Bloat ... sure, but maybe easier to work with. For example, I usually use my Sunday mornings to go over bugs and I try to close as many on the website list as I can or able to. I was busy last Sunday and this Sunday I am out of town. So, to me when I come back I can refer to the bugs rather than going through the emails.

Cheers,

Marc
