when we're finished with the web server migration, the next system to
be migrated is our mailing list system, which then will also get the
recent version of the mailing list manager, hopefully curing some of
the most annoying bugs. :-)
I propose to see if this then solves the issue already, otherwise we
can file an enhancement report with them.

It may be individual email clients are partly at fault. I have seen some
automatically add a "Re:" to the reply even though there was one already.
