If you want do become a moderator, you should:
- be active on asklibo/en
- have time to frequently browse the site to delete spam, close spammers user accounts, be
generous with your up- and down votes, accept questions for users that have not done it by
themselves, close duplicated questions, ...
- be able to cope with support mails
- be able to write in a friendly but determined way
- answer this thread :)
Hi Alex,
I'd be happy to serve as a moderator for the Ask site. My username is
'qubit'. Please sign me up!
Now, since Robinson (qubit), a native English speaker, "would be happy
to serve as a moderator", I‘m also interested to join a regenerated,
active team of moderators.
My profile on AskLibO: http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/users/360/manj_k/
At the moment, step by step, I would like to focus especially on
- the review of “unanswered questions” (to accept the correct answers
"for users that have not done it by themselves")
- the review of applied tags (to remove superfluous, misleading tags;
to add more precise, reasonable tags)
- the review of frequently viewed questions (supplementing the
answers, if necessary/possible)
- upvoting correct answers, especially the answers of new users (to
encourage them in their activities on AskLibO).
Thanks
Manfred (aka manj_k)
