Hi,

I like this model, but i will strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND it.

Ubuntu has Papercuts. We had experienced it in Pardus GNU\Linux as named
"Project Brain".

First it was really cool, but and then crazy ideas come, lots of
flaming/blaming arguing and the total result was lots of words...

The main problem was there is not enough manpower to implement the ideas.
There were really good ideas however they were only the minority.

The motiwation of the community lost and the argues damaged it. In my time
at the.Community Manager position, we had closed the Brain Project and
focused on real and hurting problems but that Pardus was not allowed to
live...

Now i see in LibreOffice that there is still not enough developers yet.
They are hard woking but most of them wants a magic wand to exterminate the
bugs in bugzilla :)

IMHO first of all an active and social Developer Base website is needed to
bring excited newby devs to the project.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Idea is great but the model is important.

Regards,
Zeki
