For some reason this (apparently legitimate) certificate is sometimes
used with the wrong site (a *.libreoffice.org site)
Hope this helps you find the error
thanks for the information!
The problem is, that we receive this error message from time to time, but
none of the admins actually experienced it themselves. :/
We are using a technology called SNI, Server Name Indication, so things
should work with all recent browsers out of the box. I am still trying to
find the root of the problem, so - did you, using this particular browser
(profile), access the site before already, or was this the first time,
using SSL?
Thanks,
Florian

Wow, I'm really having a hard time replying. Apparently I don't know how to
use a mailing list. Hopefully this works.
Anyway - follow up:
After about a month where I had no problem accessing the site, I'm now
getting the "untrusted connection" error again. It'll probably fix itself
again when I restart, but I can't do that right now.
However, I do know (slightly) more about what happened to trigger it.
The Ubuntu update manager just finished a large update (including a kernel
update and a Chrome update, and more), and restarted my computer. When I
reopened Firefox, it restored all the previous tabs, but the
libreoffice.orgtab opened with the error.
I will add that it's not the first time I restart the computer (obviously)
and normally when firefox reopens the tabs the site works OK, so it might
be a combination of the update and the restart.
I hope this is the correct way to post stuff :p
