I notice that on the Chinese simplified site, the footer seems to have a

The font size is all wrong. Or is it just my browser that is showing the
wrong size? It should look the same as all other footers on our pages.

It seems that it isn't the wrong font size, but instead the wrong font. The problem seems to be that it font is not specified explicitly at all on the website. It is only set in line 8 of layout.css to "font: 87.5% sans-serif;", which lets the browser choose any sans serif font. On the Chinese site it apparently chooses a different font, that appears smaller. Changing the css (using firebug) to read "font: 87.5% arial,helvetica,sans-serif;" (which is the common way of specifying it I think) fixes the problem, but also affects the Chinese text. I don't read Chinese, so I can't tell if this is a problem.
