btw is it on purpose that 'widget-page' does not display the page title
at all?

Cannot answer this with one single word, as depending on how you look
at it the answer is either No or Yes :-)

"No" - because it is displayed. It is used as the title of the page
itself, and for the button labels in the navigation.

"Yes" - because it is intentional that there is no autogenerated
heading in the content-area of the page with the title like there is
for other pagetypes.

Note that the page title (as displayed in your browser's window) can
be different from the go-to label in the navigation, as you can
define/override the meta-tags explicitly on the metadata tab.

ciao
Christian
