I've tried on a new test profile for SeaMonkey (2.0.12& 2.1b2) (note
that RGB reports the same error on konqueror) with the same results.
Could possibly be a SeaMonkey error, as I also cannot reproduce on
FireFox 3.x or 4.x, Opera, Chromium, Chrome, or Evince. I'll see if I
can get any of the SeaMonkey devs to reproduce.
hm... we use a technology called Server Name Indication
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Name_Indication) to host several
SSL sites on one IP address. Nearly all modern browsers support it,
except any IE version on Windows XP, and very old builds of other browsers.
Maybe you hit a bug in your browser?
