Hi,
2011/2/21 Christoph Noack <christoph@dogmatux.com>:
yesterday I worked on a standard advertisement for the German region to
be used on "real paper". I noticed that the domain name is insanely
long, and in a foreign language - a bit cumbersome when typed in
manually ...
https://challenge.documentfoundation.org/de
So, is there any chance to set up (temporary) redirects like:
http://spenden.libreoffice.org
or
http://spenden.documentfoundation.org
What do you think? By the way: "Spenden" is "Donations" in German.
Just for the domain name: We should stay with *.documentfoundation.org
as this is a TDF-case. The donation is for funding it, not for
LibreOffice. This mustn't be misunderstood.
We can go for translated subdomains IMHO,
spenden.documentfoundation.org can be accompanied by
donate.documentfoundation.org, donnee.documentfoundation.org and
donar.documentfoundation.org (if Google Translate was correct).
Bye
Volker
