I'd leave you to choose the color.
I would not use a different main color on the TDF page at this stage of development.
As long as TDF hosts mainly LibreOffice, their tight relation should be not only
shown by the same logo, but by the same color language.
If it would be possible, what would you think of inverting the navigation (dark green
or black text on light green background) as a means to differ between the sites,
while staying green in the main concept?
