I understand that my approach yesterday which I proposed for the Remaking
of the Interface of the Website is not in the spirit how a OpenSource
Project works.
Personally, I do understand your ideas from that viewpoint. Speaking
for myself, the way I worked and pushed hard to get libreoffice.org
online during December, and to a finished state in January, also
wasn't quite how Open Source projects usually work. But it did succeed
in solving an urgent problem and got the website to an operational
state much sooner than would otherwise have happened. So I can
empathize with your intentions.
It will be interesting to see your proposals in a form we can look at,
and I'll be looking forward to it. I'm certain there's a lot of
validity in your ideas. Please do work on putting them on the wiki.
