Installation instructions are a task for the documentation team. The

Thanks Sophie, for stressing this.
You're welcome :)
There was a discussion the other
day, about whether the installation instructions should be moved
from the wiki to the website and be deleted in the wiki, which I
think is no good idea.

However, the majority of postings to the thread seemed to advocate
bringing the complete installation instructions to the website.
We discussed this with David, may be on IRC - I don't remember, and
decided that the shorter ones (the readme) will be on the static
website, and more detailed ones as a documentation that will be along
the other documentation on the wiki, or on Alfresco is the material is
there.
Usually, visitors on the website are lurking for straight and direct
info, not for lengthy discussions ;-)
Kind regards
Sophie
