Hi,

we are frequently getting questions from users willing to try and
download LibreOffice, that cannot find the adequate packages. IMHO
we do need a download page, that presents the packages in a
convenient selection, now!

For this, until Dec 5, 2010 there was a script integrated in
http://www.test.libreoffice.org/download/, momentarily still
available at http://www.de.test.libreoffice.org/download-de-DE-2/.
Meanwhile Christian Lohmeier presented another (better) technical
solution for the same purpose, currently to be seen here:
http://www.test.libreoffice.org/download-3/.

As long as the LibreOffice site is not officially public, and as
long as we are pointing interested parties to
http://www.documentfoundation.org/download/, is there a chance to
improve the latter by quickly and temporarily integrating one of the
scripts mentioned above?

Stefan
