Hi *,
starting from now, all mails posted to the libreoffice mailinglists
will have an Archived-At header pointing to the corresponding message
in the archive at mail-archive.com.
No need to search in the the archive by date/by author or by summary
if you want to point others to the mail. If you got it locally, just
show all headers and copy and paste the link.
The header looks like this:
Archived-At: <http://go.mail-archive.com/dBVy2f4_79Dm1EYfV-CT9Cj0ypE=>
So visit the URL and you'll get to the corresponding message.
Thanks to mail-archive.com for making this possible and for the quick
fix of a bug on their end that was discovered while testing this
feature (for details on how it works, see
http://www.mail-archive.com/faq.html#listserver)
http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5064 (RFC regarding Archived-At header)
ciao
Christian
