https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130646 --- Comment #4 from Dr. Frank P Ferraro <drfrank01@embarqmail.com> --- The problem as stated in the initial part of this entry is that it is difficult to find the bookmark that is desired to connect a hyperlink to IF THE NUMBER OF BOOKMARKS IN THE DOCUMENT IS LARGE. The idea of an autocomplete would possibly work but I think maybe a search of the list would work better. There is no way to determine whether it would work unless it were implemented and tried. I have listed the number of key strokes needed to access the list of bookmarks to choose one to hyperlink to and then the problem is selecting the one you want. If the list is large it is tedious to find what you want. Another THOUGHT is that maybe it would be much easier if the bookmark list was not arranged according to placement in the document but according to alphabetic listing. Then it would be easier to find the one desired. As it is the bookmarks in the selection list are arranged according to page number placement in the document and this makes it very difficult to find what you want to link to. I hope this clarifies the issue a bit. thanks for reading and commenting -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
